Welcome to Postgraduate Medical Education PGME

For all learners beginning July 1, 2024, registration requirements must be submitted and completed by June 19, 2024, to prevent any delays which may impact your training start date.

For all learners that are starting throughout the academic year, registration requirements must be completed 7 business days before your approved start date to prevent any delay which may impact your training start date.

For all learners, the Office of Learner Affairs (OLA) is available to support your wellness and your medical education journey. If you require an accommodations plan, please reach out to OLA early.

Important 2024 Registration Dates

Letters of Appointment (LOA) forwarded by PGME to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).  Returning learners

May 8 POWER registration system switches over to new academic session 2024-2025.  
**POWER profiles are now available to view outstanding registration requirements **

June 19 Deadline for registration requirements  for learners starting July 1

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 

The PGME office handles the collection and monitoring of all mandatory registration requirements on behalf of hospitals and training sites.  It is your professional responsibility to inform PGME of any changes to your registration status i.e. leaves of any type or any registration requirements i.e. changes in VSS, CPSO licensure, CMPA etc.
